Troop 16 saw Aasiyah Smith and Elizabeth Palm work hard to complete the requirements for the 50th Anniversary EPA award. Linked Troop 91, saw Charles Palm complete the EPA Award as well. All Scouts completed 6 hours of conservation service along with completing 4 merit badges over the following topics – Public Health, Animal Study, Outdoor Activity and Earth Science. Aasiyah completed Wilderness Survival for her Outdoor activity while Charlie and Lizzie both used Fly fishing and Fishing respectively.
This activity sparked a possible career exploration for Charlie – He is exploring animal sciences and wants to do a project ahead for water quality improvement.
