National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) 2019

Got Leadership?  We all need it and we all want it!  The Capitol Area Council hosts four sessions of leadership development for scouts each year under the program, National Youth Leadership Training.  It’s a fun way to learn the practice the skills of leadership while having a blast.  As a member of a troop and ship, I can say that it is has been a key part of our plans to enable Scout-led programs.  Your scouts who meet the requirements (below) have the opportunity to participate and learn some of the best practices in leadership with an experience they will never forget.

For scouts who are interested, please read the information below and sign up through the provided links, which will lead to the doubleknot registration pages.  While deadlines are in the future, register soon as the courses typically fill up.  If a scout cannot make the orientation sessions scheduled over the next couple of weeks, they will still be able to attend the session after providing additional information.
