The annual North Shore District Awards presentation occurs every February to coincide with the anniversary of the founding of Scouting in the USA. We take this time to recognize the heroes of our district and our units, the Scouts and Scouters who stood out and who stood up for our community, our units, and our children in the previous year. We invite you to attend so you can lend your voice to the chorus of cheers as leaders from your unit and others are recognized by the North Shore District for their outstanding achievements and service to others. Keep your eye on this page for the latest updates.

2021 North Shore District Awards Banquet Details

The 2021 awards dinner will honor the outstanding achievements of North Shore District Scouts and Scouters from 2020, a very notable year. With the continuing global pandemic, recognizing the best of us for their best efforts is even more important than ever but the pandemic has also introduced restrictions necessary to curb the spread of this deadly disease. For this reason, we are delaying our traditional February gathering until June to allow the weather to warm up in the hopes of being able to meet in person to celebrate our best, perhaps in an outdoor event. The good news is that it is not too late to submit your nominations to the district awards committee. Check out our Awards page for details on the awards and the submission process for each.

This year’s awards dinner will be held at Good News UMC on New Hope Rd in conjunction with the June Roundtable on June 10th, 2021. The June Roundtable is already a special event with our annual chili cook off, outdoor summer games, and our summer swag raffle. But we are adding district awards to the agenda this year to make it even better.
