Unit leaders are invited to attend Roundtable on September 10th for an energetic evening of connection, preparation, and practical support for the fall Scouting season. This month’s Roundtable will help leaders get ready for upcoming Join Scouting Nights, happening September 15th–17th, and will offer a chance to ask questions, gather ideas, and build momentum with support from the Membership Momentum Team.
Roundtable will also include important reminders for Scouting for Food. Community Ties needs to know how many bags each unit will collect, so leaders should turn in their unit’s bag count by the end of Roundtable. Units can also submit their count through the sign-up form: Community Ties Fall Service Opportunities.
In addition, leaders will gain practical tips for recruiting and retaining adult volunteers — an essential part of building strong, sustainable units.
Whether you are preparing for new families, planning service opportunities, or looking for ways to strengthen your leadership team, September Roundtable is designed to help you move into the season with confidence.
Make plans now to attend October’s Roundtable. Kuruvila Mani will be the special guest on October 8th to discuss the council’s strategic plan, making this a great opportunity to look ahead and stay connected to the broader direction of Scouting in our council.
Attend Roundtable on September 10th — and invite another leader from your unit to join you.
