Prepare thy steeds and don thy finest attire, for a weekend of fun, games of all, and merry feasting awaits. Let the sun cast its golden rays upon our festivities, as minstrels serenade and jesters amuse. Make thy way to the Smilin V Scout Ranch, where banners shall flutter and knights shall vie for glory. Mayhaps thou shalt forge new friendships and partake in contests of skill and wit. We eagerly anticipate thy presence at this splendid event, taking place on November 10th-12th, of the year 2023!

NOVEMBER 10-12, 2023 at SMILIN V SCOUT RANCH, LIBERTY HILL

Early Bird $10, Late $15 REGISTRATION LINK

Come join the Scouts of the North Shore District in our “Scoutly” version of the Middle-ages. This Webelos Woods is based on the medieval period, so scouts should model “knightly” behavior. The emphasis of the event is fun and fellowship, with a flair from the Middle Ages.

Webelos (4th and 5th Grade Cub Scouts) and Leaders or Parents are invited to attend Saturday through Sunday. Each Den will be camping as a unit.
Scouts BSA Troops are invited to set up Friday evening or early Saturday morning.

What is Webelos Woods?
Webelos Woods is fun for both Webelos-aged dens (4th and 5th graders) and Scouts BSA Troops.

Over the course of a weekend, Cub Scouts and their parent or leaders will:

  • Participate in a campout using the patrol method with their den
  • Meet Scouts BSA Scouts from local troops
  • Practice or learn new Scouting skills
  • Learn about their next step in Scouting and possibly their future troop

Scouts BSA Troops will host an activity using the medieval period theme for the visiting Cub Scouts in addition to participating in the campfire and camp-wide competition. This is a great opportunity for Scouts to share all the things they enjoy about Scouting and recruit future members.
