We’re excited to begin the soft launch of the North Shore District Honor Guard Program! As we build toward a full program, we’re starting with a simple but important role: supporting our monthly Roundtable meetings with opening and closing flag ceremonies.
When: 2nd Thursday of each month
Need: 2-3 Scouts per meeting (Caller, U.S. Flag, TX Flag)
Role: Conduct the opening and closing flag ceremonies
Time: 7PM – 8:30 PM
This is a great opportunity for Scouts to gain experience, demonstrate leadership, and represent your units at the District Roundtable Meetings.
This opportunity supports advancement requirements, including:
Cub Scouts: Flag etiquette and participation in ceremonies (Bobcat, Wolf, Bear, Arrow of Light)
Scouts BSA: Citizenship, leadership, and participation requirements (Scout through First Class)
