Northern Star Award Nominations Due

Unit nominations are sought for the Northern Star Award. The Northern Star Award recognizes those who have served young people and the Scouting movement. It honors an exceptional leader or “star” in each Scouting unit in North Shore District as well as outstanding district volunteers. For many recipients, this award is the first that they receive for their service. Each recipient is given a unique certificate placed over a beautiful astrophotograph. Please send your nominations to commisioner@nsdbsa.org by January 1, 2020. Each unit may nominate one registered adult leader from their unit per calendar year. Award recipients will be recognized at the district award banquet on January 18, 2020.
