Scouts and Scouters from across the North Shore District proudly came together today to participate in our community’s local Juneteenth celebration. Embracing the spirit of unity, reflection, and community service, our members joined neighbors to honor this historic day of freedom and culture. It was a wonderful opportunity for our youth to engage with local history, live out the Scout Oath to help other people at all times, and represent Scouting in our vibrant community.
Our district’s presence at the event was organized and coordinated by Mehria Smith, our District Activities and Civic Service Vice Chair, with the invaluable support of Fatima Agostinelli, the Activities and Civic Service Assistant Vice Chair.
A huge thank you goes out to Mehria, Fatima, and all the families who made our participation possible. We are so appreciative of the scouts and leaders who represented us from Pack 171, Troop 258, Troop 358, Troop 219, and Crew 158! Thank you all for coming out, demonstrating our district’s commitment to community service, and celebrating this important day together.
