Get Into the Swing of ILST

Hello North Shore Troops,

Do you need help implementing the Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops (ISLT) training in your unit?  Has COVID bent your leadership routines out of shape? Do you want to help empower your scouts to lead and get your unit to a new level?

Help is on the way!  North Shore is offering ILST on Saturday-Sunday, August 27-28 at nearby Smilin V. Please consider sending at least your SPL and key positions, or bring your entire PLC!  ILST training is better and makes a larger impact on your troop when you have a group of your scouts who can discuss topics, participate in activities together, and become a leadership team.

Scoutmasters or their designee should attend also. All adult leaders are welcome and encouraged to watch, take notes, and ask questions so you can bring this training to your unit next time.

What you get:

  • Complete ILST training from NYLT staffers and graduates
  • Handouts
  • 3 awesome meals and snacks (Saturday lunch, dinner; Sunday breakfast)
  • Camping at Smilin V
