Greetings Webelos I Parents and Leaders
The scouts of Troop 2008 are providing a First Responder Adventure Class!
This class is intended provide all requirements necessary for completion of the First Responder core adventure requirements for your Webelos I scouts.
This is a fun activity for your scouts, as it includes both class time and engaging activities to complete the core adventure. The scouts of Troop 2008 will provide the instruction. The curriculum will include an intro presentation, personal first aid kit construction, a field exercise with realistic injuries, as well as a fire extinguisher simulator to demonstrate how to put out a fire. Water safety, emergency prep, and basic first aid treatment are also covered.
Date: Saturday, October 21, 2023
Time: 8:30am-~2:00pm
Location: Christ Episcopal Church, 3520 West Whitestone Blvd. Cedar Park
Cost: $10 per scout (*Pizza lunch will be provided for scouts) (no special dietary needs addressed)
Parents/leaders are welcome to stay and observe, but are not required to attend.
