Every Northshore Pack & Troop Needed Now to Hit Our District Goal!
The North Shore District Excellence Award is a new program—modeled after Journey to Excellence—designed to help units plan for success and achieve goals specific to our community.
This year, our district has set an ambitious goal: 100% participation! Participation simply means submitting a completed rubric. Even if your unit doesn’t hit a bronze, silver, or gold designation this program year, turning in your form is vital to helping the district reach this major milestone.
Unit leaders are encouraged to print the appropriate rubric for your unit type (see links below) to review your progress from June 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026. Evaluating your score helps us identify the collective strengths of our North Shore units and pinpoint areas of focus for the future. It’s also a perfect exercise to complete ahead of an annual planning meeting!
Good news! The submission deadline has been officially extended until the end of the month to help every unit turn in their paperwork.
Once completed and signed, scan and email your rubric to the district key three (instructions and email addresses are on the form). Then, reach out to your unit commissioner to discuss your plans for the year ahead.
