Tim Pacl
District Commissioner
The District Commissioner is a member of the District Key 3 and leads the Commissioner Corps in the North Shore District, guiding and measuring the districts unit service function of the program. The District Commissioner is responsible for identifying and recruiting commissioner candidates, ensuring they receive the appropriate training for their role, and supporting them in the performance of their duties.
Tim is a long-time Scouter and has served in numerous unit, district, and council roles including Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, Explorer Advisor, Unit Commissioner, Roundtable Commissioner. and University of Scouting Dean and Chancellor.

Jennifer Fortenberry
Assistant District Commissioner for Cub Scouting
An Assistant District Commissioner (ADC) is assigned to focus on an area of need within the district. An ADC may have other commissioners they oversee depending on their area of need. Some of the areas of need identified in the North Shore District include New Units, Recharter, Cub Scouting, Scouts BSA, Venturing & Sea Scouting, Roundtable, and Scouts with special needs.
Jennifer volunteered in her sons’ pack(s) in various roles including Committee Chair of Pack 160, later becoming Unit Commissioner for both Pack 160 and Pack 172. Her role as Assistant District Commissioner for Cub Scouting focuses on the health of packs in our district.

Assistant District Commissioner for New Units
An Assistant District Commissioner (ADC) is assigned to focus on an area of need within the district. An ADC may have other commissioners they oversee depending on their area of need. Some of the areas of need identified in the North Shore District include New Units, Recharter, Cub Scouting, Scouts BSA, Venturing & Sea Scouting, Roundtable, and Scouts with special needs.
Aaron is an experienced scouter and commissioner. He has served in various unit roles including Committee Chair, Cubmaster, and Scoutmaster. He has been actively supporting the membership committee and brings all of this experience to the role of Assistant District Commissioner for New Units.

Assistant District Commissioner for Special Needs Scouting
An Assistant District Commissioner (ADC) is assigned to focus on an area of need within the district. An ADC may have other commissioners they oversee depending on their area of need. Some of the areas of need identified in the North Shore District include New Units, Recharter, Cub Scouting, Scouts BSA, Venturing & Sea Scouting, Roundtable, and Scouts with special needs.
Brian brings vast experience with him to his role as Assistant District Commissioner for Special Needs Scouting. His role is primarily to train unit and district leaders on special needs Scouting but is also the point of contact to answer your questions and consult with you on your special needs Scouts.

Assistant District Commissioner for Roundtable
An Assistant District Commissioner (ADC) is assigned to focus on an area of need within the district. An ADC may have other commissioners they oversee depending on their area of need. Some of the areas of need identified in the North Shore District include New Units, Recharter, Cub Scouting, Scouts BSA, Venturing & Sea Scouting, Roundtable, and Scouts with special needs.
Diane is an experienced Scouter with Troops 258 and 358 and also serves as the district quartermaster. She joined the North Shore Commissioner Corps as Asst. Roundtable Commissioner for Scouts BSA and Venturing, then as Roundtable Commissioner, and has brought infectious energy and positive change to the team.
Roundtable Commissioners
Roundtable Commissioners are responsible for conducting the monthly district roundtable which provides unit leaders with the skill to do and the will to do what is needed to ensure that every member of every unit has a great Scouting experience. Roundtables build upon the foundation provided by position-specific basic training and each leader’s commitment to serving youth through Scouting.
