Mayor Jim Penniman-Morin and the Cedar Park City Council will issue a proclamation honoring Cedar Park’s and the North Shore District’s first female Eagle Scout, Kate Pate, at the September Cedar Park City Council meeting.
Mixing it up at Roundtable this month, there is a lot going on. We will be remembering Jeffrey Hynes. Cub Scout Packs can pick up their JSN materials. We are focusing on recruiting with 3 topics that apply to both Cub and Scouts BSA units. Recruiting Leaders, Tried & True In-School Recruiting, and NSDs upcoming Rocket Recruiting Day.
A little bit of knowledge about Scouting’s history can inspire. It can inspire leaders to deliver on the promise of the past to forge a better future. It can inspire Scouts through the legacy of achievement by Scouts and Scouters of days gone by.
