A Scout is Loyal, though not blindly so. The original description of the second point of the Scout Law from 1911 said “A Scout is loyal to all those to whom loyalty is due.” Loyalty is a two-way street and it requires courage sometimes also – A Scout is brave – because it means remaining steadfast in your support even when they stumble. It means helping them do better, be better – A Scout is helpful. Loyalty is prominently represented by the blue in the BSA logo. Loyalty should be prominent in you as well. A Scout is loyal.
