As famous Rock n’ Roll icon, Jerry Lee Lewis, sang… There’s a “Whole Lot of Shakin’ Going on” here in the North Shore District!
The first shake came late last year when our District Director, Justin Brundin (left), was promoted to Northern Area Field Director and we got our new District Executive, Summer Jones (right).
In the next shake, Council Commissioner, Kuruvila Mani (left), turned over the reigns after 5 years in the role to our North Shore Communications Chair, Dr. Tim Urban (right). Dr. Urban took on the Council Commissioner role in December 2025.
The third shake happened at the March North Shore committee meeting when Darryl Agostinelli (left) announced he would step aside in the next few months after 5 years as District Chair in favor of current Membership Chair, Dave Wood (right).
And the last shake, also at the March committee meeting, North Shore District Commissioner, Tim Pacl (left), announced his intent to step down at the start of the new year (2027). No successor has yet been named.
Shakin’ is not a bad thing now and then. It can lead to fresh outlooks and new ideas and that is the reason for these changes, to keep things fresh. Those that are taking on these critical district and council key 3 roles will have the benefit of continued support from their predecessors. While we will miss those that are stepping down, there is a lot to be excited about and to look forward to from those that are stepping up.
