Volunteers Needed: Unit Leaders & Scouts Wanted for Leander Local Fest!
We urgently need Unit Leaders and Scout Volunteers to help represent Scouting at the Leander Local Fest on February 27th. This is a major community event that brings together local businesses and organizations—and it’s a great chance for Scouting to show up strong. But we can’t do it without your help.
Event Details
- Theme: Game Night
- Location: PAC, on 183A Toll Road
- Purpose: A large community gathering supporting local Leander businesses and organizations
Where We Need Help Most
- Unit Leader Recruitment Shifts:
- 3:00–5:00 PM
- 5:00–7:00 PM
Unit Leaders are encouraged to bring unit flyers for recruiting.
Scouts of any age are welcome to join recruitment efforts. - Service & Cleanup Support (5:00–9:00 PM):
Scouts are needed to help vendors with tear-down and assist the Chamber of Commerce with cleanup.
This is ideal for Webelos and older Scouts and counts toward service hours.
