All Scouts, Scouters and their families are invited to enjoy the symposium on Friday, July 21, 2023 from 10:30 AM – 5:00 PM at Austin Community College – San Gabriel campus (449 San Gabriel Campus Drive, by the Leander train station).

Opportunities for all Scouts: all youth may help at an activity & recruitment booth and Scouts BSA complete an Indian Lore Merit Badge requirement.
Ways to join in:
- Pass the word about this event to your units (use the eventbrite link).
- Set up & rearrange chairs at symposium.
- Collect trash – food and paper waste from 2 food trucks in the parking lot.
- Adult leaders can help staff and speak to people at a booth. The booth will be about the Indian Lore Merit Badge and recruiting for Scouting.
- For Scouts BSA, this event fulfills an Indian Lore Merit Badge requirement (5i). Certificate of attendance will be provided.
Admission is free but please RSVP at the link and let me know that you are attending to coordinate volunteers.
