The North Shore District is pleased to announce the 2023 Pack of the Year is actually Packs of the year. Congratulations to both Pack 170 and Pack 160! We couldn’t be more pleased to have both units knock it out of the park in 2023.
Initially, Unit of the Year was awarded to Pack 170 with the highest Journey to Excellence score across all North Shore Packs, or so it was thought. Just a few days later, the District Commissioner did a detailed unit assessment with Pack 160 leadership. During the assessment, it was found that their were 2 issues with the grading of the unit’s JTE that resulted in a lower score than they should have had. Their revised score brought them up to Pack of the Year with Pack 170.
Pack of the Year will be presented to Pack 160 at the March District Roundtable on Thursday, March 14th. We hope you will all come out to celebrate with them. We will have pizza and water for attendees.
