Congratulations to New Brotherhood Members
19 members from North Shore completed their Brotherhood at the April Camporee: Lilly Bjordal, Myles Edwards, Joshua Hynes, Aaron Matt, Travis McLane, Kevin Mitschke, Hannah Mullens, Ethan Pope, Ben Stacer, Christian Swint, Alec Taylor, Adam Thompson, Jacob Troller, Ryan Baldwin, Ståle Bjørdal, Garner Edwards, Alicia Matt, Brad Stacer, and Shawn Trollope.
Spring Assembly
22 new North Shore members went through their Ordeal at LPSR during the May Assembly. Ordeal candidates alongside members worked to make improvements to the camp in preparation for the summer camping season.
Congratulations to new Ordeal Members: Sean Cassizzi, Russell Cassizzi, Michael Dial, Dutch Foster, Logan Grisham, Josue Guittierea, Jordan Gyergyo, Jackson Hoy, AJ Hutmacher, Tarkyn Miller, Joel Otto, Tracy Otto, Matt Pope, Andrew Rowin, Scott Rowin, Jacques Salin, Daniel Shott, Tyler Sisca, Aaron Smith, Caleb Song, Fritz Turner, and Danny Wolf.
Other members assisted with administration, elangomats, and work crews: John Devenport, Connie Michaels, Heather Spencer, Christian Swint, Kevin Taylor, Caleb Trollope, Shawn Trollope, Tim Urban, and Steven Worthy.
All members are encouraged to attend lodge events such as the Spring, Summer, and Fall Assemblies. There are many opportunities for your cheerful service.
Elections
It is hard to believe that it is already time to elect new chapter leaders. If you are interested in serving on OA at the district level, please come to the May OA Meeting.
Positions Available:
- Chapter Chief – attends and presides over all chapter meetings and represents our chapter at the monthly Lodge Meetings
- Vice Chief of Inductions – organizes elections and encourages brotherhood conversion
- Vice Chief of Program – leads camporee and other activity (fun and service) planning and implementation
- Vice Chief of Ceremonies – organizes the ceremony teams, plans and implements ceremonies
- Vice Chief of Communication – takes notes at chapter meetings, maintains regular communication with members through GroupMe, email, and the North Shore newsletter.
May Meeting
For our Thursday May 12 OA Chapter Meeting, bring $5 for food. We’ll order pizza at the beginning of the meeting. After elections, we’ll have games or just hang out. Please bring a ball for soccer or gaga ball or scout-appropriate board or card games.
