North Shore’s National Day of Service moved to January 2, 2021.
Our original service project at the Equine Rehabilitation Central Texas facility was rescheduled to January 2. This project includes cleaning up some of the paddocks, painting fences, and organization. Be sure to bring work clothes, gloves, water, and a mask. More information about ERCT is available here.

Plans to continue chapter meetings virtually
We really miss seeing one another in person and look forward to the day when COVID clears. In the meantime, the Capitol Area lodge has issued protocols for any event or gathering that limit our ability to meet, such as the need for pre-registration approval, outdoor only meetings with a trained COVID Safety officer. The North Shore chapter has decided to continue the chapter meetings on Zoom until we have more flexibility to return to indoor meetings.
Annual Dues
We request that all OA members pay their dues at the same time as annual dues are paid via their units. Our council requires a separate payment issued to the Capitol Area Council, earmarked specifically for the Order of the Arrow. The following is the dues schedule for renewing members:
- New Members – Candidates who are going through Ordeal for the first time. This is included in the fee for your Ordeal weekend. $20
- Ordeal Members – Those who have completed their Ordeal, but have not yet earned Brotherhood. (Brotherhood may be earned 6 months after your Ordeal) $20
- Brotherhood Members and those registering for Assembly as Brotherhood Candidates $15
- Vigil Members $15
- Transferring Members – Your honor level at the time of transfer will dictate your dues according to this table. $15 – $20
