VOLUNTEER WANTED for the NEWSLETTER

Duties – assist with website article publications, collect articles into a monthly compillation and send out to the district. Qualifications – basic computer proficiency, desire to help Scouting. Time – flexible, a few hours per month as needed. Contact communications@northshoredistrict.org with questions or to volunteer.

2026 Training Highlights

• 3/12 and the 2nd Thursday every month – North Shore Roundtable: have fun, enjoy fellowship & get important info. Bring the kids – the district den leader will run a model den meeting and engage youth in Scouting activites !
• 3/16-21 – NYLT Spring break youth leadership training
• 4/24-26 – Sea Scout Academy youth training and adult classes
• 5/15-17 – MEGA Training Weekend: BALOO, IOLS, Wilderness First Aid
• 6/8-13 – NYLT Summer youth leadership training
• 10/23-25 & 11/7-8 – Wood Badge – premiere adult leadership training for all levels
• 12/27-1/1/2027 – NYLT Winter youth leadership training
