Do You Know? COVID vs NCAP – Policies & Paperwork
As of March 1, 2022, most of the temporary changes for program/advancement that were implemented due to Covid will expire. See the “additional program-related announcements” on this page.
As of January 18, 2022, District and Council events no longer need to submit event plans for Covid commitee approval.
But remember: as of January 1, 2021, all scouting events must follow policies and plans for events falling under the long-term and short-term National Camp Accreditation Program (NCAP). See the NCAP resources here. Any multi-unit event (2 or more units not chartered by the same entity) falls under NCAP.
