The 2024 Northshore District Awards were held at SouthStar Bank in Leander on January 25, 2024.
The event was held to celebrate and recognize units and individuals for their hard work in the scouting organization in 2023. Nearly every unit in the district was represented. After Kylia Agostinelli, VP with Crew 158 led the Pledge of Allegiance and Scout Oath & Law, the following individuals and units received recognition:
Commissioners: Installment of new Commissioners, led by our Council Commissioner Kuruvila Mani. Mr. Tim Pacl, District Commissioner received his Commissioner Key recognition.
Friends of Scouting: Troops 16/91 received recognition for the most fundraising collected, covering almost 25% of NSD’s total amount.
Popcorn: The Top selling Packs were #1: P160: ~$33,000; #2: P233 ~$17,000; #3: P170 ~12,000
Top Selling Troops were: #1 T258: ~$22,000; #2: T91 ~$12,000; #3: T161 ~$6,000
