Membership Focus for Packs & Troops
FOR PACKS: The multi-part Pack Membership Series will be wrapping up for the year with a focus on new member retention & recharter at this month’s Roundtable Meeting at Good News United Methodist Church at 7pm on Thursday, October 10th.
We will also be gathering feedback from packs at this October session to improve our pack recruitment process for next year to better support units & recruiting in the North Shore in 2025. Bring your thoughts & join us for a productive session focused on new member retention and an opportunity to shape our planning for next year.
FOR TROOPS: At next month’s Roundtable Meeting – on November 14th at 7pm (at Good News Methodist Church), the North Shore Membership Committee will go over the details of a new recruiting effort to help troops reach and recruit 5th graders that may not yet be a part of scouting. These 5th graders will be eligible to join troops beginning March 1st & the program to reach out to them via our schools will begin in January & February. Troops interested in participating should send representatives to attend the special Round Table Session in November. (Both adult and scout leadership are welcome to attend this session.) Troops that wish to participate will need to bring this information back to their Committees & PLCs to secure a participation commitment from their troop in order to take advantage of this amazing opportunity!
