Many people turned out for the June Roundtable was the family fun day. The evening started with flags, commissioner recognition, and then a chili cookoff.
Water event #1 was the balloon toss. Scouts and scouters paired up and tested their skills catching water-filled balloons. Participants backed up a step after each successful catch – and eventually all the balloons burst. Scouts and scouters were sure to pick up the balloon pieces when they were finished – leave no trace!
Water event #2 was a soccer game betweehn scouts and scouters. Using a beach ball, only water squirters could be used to move the ball. After a two nail-biting halves, the scouts prevailed 1-0 with a brilliant goal as time was running out.
