Following the first ice storm, Troops 258 and 358 helped clean up branches all around the Good News UMC property on Februry 13. Cleanup contines after the week-long wintery weather and scouts have a huge brush pile for later processing.
The wintry weather delayed Scout Sunday too. Scouts were finally able to represent Scouting at Good News at two services on Sunday, February 28. Scouts were invited for two morning services – the first a beautiful outdoors setting and the second a Covid-safe indoors service which was simulcast online.
