Hello North Shore District,
My name is Milo, and I’m a leader with Troop 198. Our troop, as well as Pack 77, is hosting a Scouting Festival at Jones Brothers Park from 9 AM to 1 PM on Satuday, August 13, and we would like your help. The purpose of this festival is to provide a fun and local community event to interest young kids in scouting.
What we need is quite simple. We would like some troops to help us run some of our events since we would like to have a strong scout presence. However, we would also greatly appreciate any troop that comes out and sponsors their own event. We have enough space for that as well. As it may be known, this is a recruiting event as well. We hope to pull as many people to our local pack and troop as we can. However, we would be happy to do the same thing for the other forces as well.
