Calling all Troops, Packs, Crews or Ships… we are looking for Scouters to volunteer at vendor booths at a variety of large-scale community events coming up this year. This is a great opportunity to spread the love of Scouting to interested families.

You will be provided with everything you need to promote Scouting at your booth, a tablecloth, large scale banners, BeAScout themed materials, etc.
The idea is simple…
- Send a few volunteers to any of the events in any city, not just the one located closest to your unit.
- The volunteers will speak with interested families about the Scouting program.
- You will lead the families to BeAScout.org and help the family request more information from the unit that is closest to their home or school.
- The interested families’ contact information will then be sent to unit Key 3 members using real-time lead management tools.
- If every unit in our district signs up to volunteer at these community events, we will ALL benefit!
Please discuss with your unit which event works best for your volunteers and consider signing up ASAP. There’s no limit to the number of community events you sign up for. The more we cover, the more leads we will generate and the stronger our Scouting unit will become.
