North Shore District
Capitol Area Council, BSA
The North Shore District is part of the Capitol Area Council, Boy Scouts of America in the Austin,TX area. The North Shore District is made up of youth and adult volunteers forming Packs, Troops, Venture Crews, and Ships. The district spans the Leander ISD and the Lago Vista ISD in Leander, Cedar Park, Steiner Ranch, Four Points, Jonestown & Lago Vista.
The North Shore District was formed in 2008 from elements of the former Arrowhead District. We serve youths in our Cub Scouting, Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouting), Venturing, and Sea Scouting programs. The North Shore District has produced many Eagle Scouts in the years that we have been part of the Capitol Area Council.
