Thank You, North Shore!
During the month of November, North Shore units demonstrated the spirit of Scouting through their incredible participation in the Scouting for Food initiative. Together, our Scouts distributed 1,294 bags throughout the community, collected food donations, and delivered them to two local pantries in need: Brighter Days Food Pantry and Reveal Resource Center.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to every unit that contributed to this effort. Thank you to Pack 233, Pack 160, Pack 170, Pack 171, Pack 201, Troops 16 & 91, Troop 219, Troop 161, Troop 271, Troop 2008, Troop 358, Crew 1691, and Crew 158 for stepping up with enthusiasm and dedication. Recognition also goes to Troop 150, which held its own food drive benefiting the Live Oak Food Pantry, and to Pack 1720, which donated 457 pounds of food to the Reveal Resource Center.
Your combined efforts made this initiative a tremendous success. Thank you for coming together as a community, living out the Scout Oath and Law, and making a meaningful difference for families in need.
We are excited to announce that Scouting for Food will now become an annual districtwide service event for the North Shore District! We look forward to growing this tradition each year and continuing to serve our community—together.
Thank you, North Shore Scouts and Scouters, for your service and your heart!
